Clicking for Treasure: Smithtown CraigsList Finds

Long Island CraigsList, a 21st century take on classified advertisements, is quite a unique forum.  There are not many other sites out there that can find you a job to work at, a home to live in, a person to share that home with and possessions to fill it to capacity all right in Smithtown.

There are also not many other sites where you can find out what's hiding in your neighbor's attic, basement and backyard.  Take a look at the hidden treasures of some Smithtown residents currently being sold on CraigsList:

National Geographic Collection

One Smithtown resident is selling 100+ original National Geographic books from the 1950's and 1960's. The asking price is $60 and interested buyers can e-mail mjc02419@yahoo.com.

Vintage Clothing

Another Smithtown resident is selling vintage 1950's and 1960's clothing. Items include cocktail and house dresses, circle skirts, summer tops, beaded sweaters, box jackets, winter coats and accessories like 50's pocketbooks, gloves, hats. Kayak

This 9 1/2 foot, grey kayak is in good condition, priced at $200 and perfect to take down the river.  Interested buyers can contact 631-796-9920.

Trampoline

A hardly used, 14-foot trampoline is available for $250.  It comes with a full safety-net and is a great backyard addition.

Poker Table
