The Smithtown Central School District has a light week with meetings as the only one set is the regular Board of Education meeting. The board will meet Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Joseph Barton Building on New York Avenue.

The current Bayport-Blue Point superintendent of schools is in the final stages of the contract process with the Smithtown Central School District, according to numerous sources.
