Sept. 11 Memorial; Primary Results This Wednesday in Smithtown

Good morning, Smithtown. Today, we take a moment of silence to remember Sept. 11. 

Events

• St. James Fire Department will be holding a community candlelight memorial service to remember those killed in the 9/11 attacks at 7 p.m. at the fire station off Woodlawn and Jefferson Avenues.  

• Five local teens face felony changes of third-degree burglary for allegedly breaking into a St. James building and smashing into a vending machine for chips and candy.
  
  
• Everything's rolling smoothing at the newly reopened AMF Smithtown Lanes. The bowling alley has new lanes, a new sound system and other upgraded features after reconstruction.
