@SmithtownPatch Tonight... Alfie Harris a 3 year old bolognese dog fell off the bluff and was trapped within the sand and brush. Nissequogue police "officer Steve" and Head of the Harbor "officer Pat" immediately responded to the 911 call and came to the rescue....Climbing the slopes of the bluff in a rainstorm with thunder and lightening the two brave officers came to Alfie's aid! Many thanks and sincere gratitude from Alfie and the entire Harris family to these two heroes!!!
