5 Local Events to Hit This Weekend

Meet a former New York Giants player, see the Zebra frontman perform live and more locally this weekend.

Do you plan on watching the New York Giants play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday?  Former Giants punter Sean Landeta is set to host a playoff party at in Commack, starting at 1 p.m. 

Could you complete three 90-minute hot yoga classes in a row? If you think you could then you might want to hit the Smithtown Hot Yoga "Sweat-A-Thon." The event begins at 8 a.m. and costs $10 to participate. All proceeds will be donated to the Long Island chapter of the U.S. Veterans Motorcycle Club, which will go towards programs to help local veterans and current U.S. troops. 

Want to see a performance of Guys and Dolls? You could see one courtesy of , located at 230 East Main Street in Smithtown. The show is set for Saturday at 8 p.m., and tickets cost $12, or $10 for seniors and children under five-years-old.

Are you a fan of the 1980s rock band Zebra? You could see frontman Randy Jackson perform live at , as well as Evolution, the Journey tribute band, Saturday at 9 p.m. There is no cover charge for the show.
