#89 - Staying Fit With 'Zumba for Everyone' at the Smithtown Library Commack Branch

Sculpt and tone your physique while dancing to Latin Zumba beats of at the Commack Branch of the Smithtown Special Library District.

The Smithtown Special Library District is providing ways to get or stay in shape with the summer approaching, specifically at the newly renovated Commack branch with “Zumba for Everyone,” a weekly class that takes place Wednesday evenings throughout May.

Zumba classes help you to sculpt and tone your body while shaking your hips and moving your feet to high-energy Latin-inspired beats. Locals ages 16 and up are invited to join this dance-fitness craze that fuses exotic rhythms with easy to follow dance moves.

Whether you’ve done it before or you’re just beginning, the effective calorie-burning routines will have you staying in shape and your energy level soaring. This fun and friendly class is also a great way to make friends in the community.

There are two sessions each week from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and from 7:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Space is limited, and there is a $24 fee due at registration.
