Buses to Replace Eastbound Trains

Track work between Huntington and Port Jefferson changes service, schedules

The Long Island Rail Road will provide buses to replace trains on service between Huntington and Port Jefferson starting Monday.
 
The service disruption will continue through Aug. 9 as the LIRR installs new track ties between Huntington and Port Jefferson.

Westbound schedules are changed, with service up to 24 minutes earlier than the usual train schedule.

The LIRR said passengers should allow up to 26 extra minutes to travel time.
