It's a great town. It's got all types of patients from all income levels. It has a lot of history.

What is a challenging aspect in your work?

Insurance companies causing a lot of difficulties. But I have a good staff and we're able to get over those hurdles pretty easily.

What words do you have for someone entering your field?

Don't start out with a huge office because it's not going to be filled in right away. Try to rent from an existing practice with an extra room. Also, it's good to have multidisiplinary professionals such as a podiatrist, acupuncturist or wholistic nutritionist.
