Don't Miss: Nesconset Chamber Celebrates Hanukkah

Hanukkah celebration starts at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the gazebo.

Hanukkah, frequently called the Festival of LIghts, will shine its light in Nesconset on Tuesday.

Nesconset Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Hanukkah celebration at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Nesconset gazebo, next door to the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public Library. This event is free and open to the public.

The celebration will feature a short ceremony leading to the lighting of the town's menorah on Smithtown Boulevard.

The Nesconset chamber announces that several local businesses have donated bicycles that will be raffled off to go home with local children. In addition, there will be a 50/50 raffle.

Refreshments will be served accompanied by music to celebrate the holiday season.

Hanukkah is celebrated for 8 nights starting this year on Nov. 27. Wednesday is the seventh night of celebrations.
