Don't Miss: Veterans Day Parades, Ceremonies in Smithtown

Places to honor local veterans who have given their service to our nation on Monday.

Veterans Day is federal holiday to recognize those who have given service to our nation, particularly those veterans from Smithtown and St. James area. 

St. James Fire Department will host their annual Veterans Day Parade starting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. The parade will step off from the intersection of Lake Avenue and Woodlawn in St. James, and proceed to St. James Elementary School for ceremonial celebrations. 

Later, Smithtown American Legion Post 833 and Smithtown VFW Post 10870 will hold a Veterans Day commemorative ceremony at 10:45 a.m. Monday at the Town of Smithtown's Veterans Plaza on Main Street.
