Fanny Cakes has not been open long but is already starting to host events open to the community with Friday's Holiday House Making Class.
The cost is $40 to participate and will begin at 5 p.m. The class is two hours long.
For kids 7 years old and up, the participants will be able to use sugar cookie pieces to make holiday houses under the guidance of Fanny Cakes' pastry chef and staff. There are 12 open spots for the event.
