Event Spotlight: Youth Bureau Battle of the Bands

Providing teens with a fun, safe night full of local music.

 

Hoyt Farm in Commack will be the place to be for some rock ‘n’ roll, as the Youth Bureau of Smithtown kickstarts their Summer Nights program with a Battle of the Bands Concert and Competition on Tuesday night.

The Youth Bureau will be providing safe and fun nights all summer long for teens to attend and hang out with friends.

The event is free and open to all high school-aged teens and younger.

Where: Hoyt Farm Nature Preserve 200 New Hwy, Commack, NY 11725
When: June 26, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Who: Teens
Why: To provide safe summer nights for teens.
Cost: Free

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
