Foggy Day in Smithtown; Share Your Photos

With Long Island in a fog advisory, roads and backyards were blanketed on Monday morning.

A winter warm-up caused heavy fog across Long Island on Monday, a phenomenon that led many in Smithtown to wake up to eerie blankets of mist shrouding roads, villages and backyards.

The National Weather Service had issued a dense fog advisory for the region until 9 a.m., and as of this writing much of the fog has lifted in the area.

If the foggy morning led you to grab your cameras or smartphones today, take a moment and upload your pics to this post. Let's see who got the best snapshot.
