Get Out: Comedy Superheroes, Super Bowl Celebrations, Chinese New Year and More

Take a Winter Wonderland Walk, listen to some of the music of John Lennon and of course catch the Super Bowl on Sunday. We've got it all here for you to check out.

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.

Where/When: Blacksmith's Tavern – Thursday, 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: Because Joe Pontillo, George Gallo, Terry McNeely Tony Landolfi are all seriously funny guys. Plus Thursday night is Ladies Night so drinks are only $1 for ladies.

Where/When: Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts – Friday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: Getting to listen to some great music by one of the greatest performers is never a bad thing. Carlo Cantanessa will be performing John Lennon's biggest hits in this don't miss performance.
Pricing: $35.00 for all seats.

Where/When: Nisseqougue State Park – Saturday, 2 p.m.
Why Go: Sure it’s freezing out and it’s probably going to snow again, but there isn’t too many opportunities to do something fun outside with the family in the winter. This is an opportunity to see how wild animals live during the wintertime and have some fun with the family.
Pricing: $4 for adults, $3 for children. It is $8 to park.

Where/When: Ward Melville Historical Organization Education & Cultural Center – Sunday, 1:30 p.m.
Why Go: Kids will love this over the top celebration of the Chinese New Year complete with performances by the Stony Brook Taiko Drum Ensemble, Spotlight Dance Academy and a Lion Dance performance by Wu Mei Kung Fu Association. It’s the perfect family outing before settling down to watch the Packers take on the Steelers later that day.
Pricing: Adults it's $10, seniors and children under 12 it's $8, and advanced registration is required.

5. Superbowl Sunday
Where/When: , , ,, , – Sunday
Why Go: So this isn't an event per se, but a good group of friends, good food and some drinks at a local sports bar can make this the event of the year.
Pricing: Free to go to any of the bars or restaurants, food and drinks are up to you.
