Help Wanted: Smithtown Industries are Hiring

This week brings a wide variety of positions at Waldbaums ranging from a head bookkeeper to the store detective.  Also hiring this week is St. Catherine's of Siena for a PCA II in Labor and Delivery.  Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a cook for their facility and AMF Bowling is looking for an entry level mechanic.

St. Catherine's of Siena

• Position: PCA II Labor & Delivery
• Duties: Duties include bathing and shaving patients, peform and record vital signs of patients and peforming simple physical therapy exercises as needed.  The PCA II will also collect specimen samples as required and may also have to perform post-mortem care when required.

• Position: Nightstock/Payout Clerk
• Duties: Receive and store deliveries.  Break down deliveries and properly store products.  Keep count of inventory and order supplies when necessary.  Stock, refill and rotate products on the floor.

• Duties: Provide quality customer service.  Receive and store product deliveries, ensure for proper inventory levels of product on floor and order products as necessary.

• Position: Store Detective
• Duties: Individual must assist in all aspects of loss prevention with management.  Deter theft within store and apprehend those who violate the law.  Individual may also be called upon to testify in court as needed.

• Position: Bookkeeper/Head Cashier
• Duties: Count register totals, enter daily time sheets, ensure all employees are being paid correctly for time worked, as well as for holiday, sick or vacation time.  Individual must be aware of and comply with all Federal and State laws.

• Position: Mental Health Intake Specialist
• Duties: Provide assistance to the intake department with client admissions.  Assist in pre-admission case management as needed.  Provide transportation for clients when necessary.  Individual will also assist in conducting admission interviews and write intake summaries.

• Position: Mental Health Training Specialist
• Duties: The training specialist must provide training in all areas including medication, service planning, problem solving, safety and accident procedures, computer maintenance and any other areas as needed.  The individual must keep track of the status of traning for all new employees.

• Position: Cook
• Duties: The hired individual will be responsible for preparing and serving all meals.  The individual must maintain a santitary food prep area, maintain proper records of inventory and receive and rotate inventory as needed.

• Position: Occupational Therapist
• Duties: The occupational therapist hired will be required to assess and document all assessments regarding patients.  Provide quality care for patients and help their caregivers understand the nature of treatment being provided.  Supervise and train occupational therapist assistants and clinical students.

• Position: Entry Level Mechanic
• Duties: This entry level position will train the individual to become familiar with the machines at AMF Bowling and the proper maintenance of the machines.  Individual will receive all necessary training to be promoted to mechanic position.
