Jan. 11: West and East Boy's Track, the History of Village of the Branch and More

For Tuesday we will feature a Q&A with a doctor in your community, another installment of the rich and unique history of Smithtown, East and West track and much more.

1. At 10 a.m. check out our next installment of Doctor’s In, a weekly Q&A with a local healthcare professional. This week’s interview is with Michael Petersen, MD.

2. Every week we feature Smithown, A History, a feature on the rich local history of Smithtown and surrounding areas. At noon we will report on the history of the Village of the Branch.

3. West and East boys winter track met at the Hispanic Games at the Armory in New York City this past weekend, with West’s Mike Emerson and Mark Valentino stepping up for the school. Check back at 3 p.m. for the story and photos.

4. The Stony Brook Small Business Development Center will host at the Sheraton Long Island Hotel from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

5. East boys varsity basketball will Come out and support your local team.
