Lake Ronkonkoma is Not Frozen (In Case You Were Wondering)

Edges beginning to freeze on Tuesday.

Seems the 8 degree temperatures and below-zero wind chill wasn't enough to freeze Long Island's largest body of fresh water: Lake Ronkonkoma.

But that doesn't mean it wasn't beyond chilly at the edge of the lake Tuesday as the cold wind  swirled across the water.

Portions of the lake were starting to freeze at the southern edge, and all along the lake a crust of ice had formed.

We'll have to check back tomorrow.
