March 2: Route 25 Pedestrian Safety Discussion and More

Here's some information you'll need to know for your Wednesday.

For your Wednesday, you have an opportunity to voice your concerns about the safety of Route 25 as well as get some useful information on weekend family activities, some local fire department history and more.

1. At 9 a.m. check out our latest Grab & Go Kids Planner where you can find suggestions on where to tae the family and kids this weekend.

2. Great Escape will run at 11 a.m. Here we'll provide a suggestion of where you can go this weekend to get away from the monotony of the workweek.

3. Smithtown, A History can be seen at noon. Here, history writer Rita Egan begins a two-part series of how residents put out fires before the fire department was established.

4. At 2 p.m., check out and participate in our latest Mom's Chat discussion, where we will provide an open forum (not limited to mom's) on the safety concerns of Route 25 and how you would like to see them addressed.
