2. At 9 a.m. make sure to check out the cheapest gas prices in Smithtown before you head out for Memorial Day.

3. Check out the parade in St. James that begins at 10 a.m., headed by the VFW Post 395, which starts at the intersection of Woodland and Lake Avenue, then travels north to St. James Elementary School where Memorial Day services will be held.
4. Head over to the parade in Smithtown at noon on Main Street, which begins at Singer Lane and ends at Town Hall.
