Mom's Talk Q&A: Should Parents Unify Against School Closings?

This week's discussion involves parents of children in Nesconset Elementary, Dogwood Elementary and Branch Brook Elementary, as well as the other six elementary schools, unifying to keep all buildings open.

Discussions and rumors of an have loomed over the district and families with children in these schools for months. In these months of speculation, parents with children in , and Branch Brook Elementary have all voiced concerns of why their school, or any school, should not be closed. While closing concerns have been raised, concerns of a divide amongst these communities has also come to fruition, pitting the parents of the children in one school against the parents of children in another.
