Photo of the Day: Harte Memorial Adorned with Pink Ribbons

The memorial for the late St. James Elementary teacher Sara Long Harte, who lost her battle with breast cancer, gets ribbon addition for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Back in June, , a teacher who lost her battle with breast cancer in Aug. 2010 at 33 years old.

While the front of the school is currently decorated with scarecrows designed by school children, a walk to the front of the building near the benches shows a different decoration. For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the school dressed the rock adorned with the dedication plaque with pink ribbons.
