Report: Suburban Exterminating Explains Bug Survival Techniques to Kids

The interactive demonstration allows kids to see the bugs the company is called in by homes and businesses to exterminate.

Suburban Exterminating, located at 879 West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown, showed a group of kids bugs at both the Port Jefferson and Hauppauge public libraries bugs to explain their how they survive and more, according to a Pest Control Technology report.

According to the report, entomologists from the company displayed the bugs, which included a tarantula and Madagascar roaches, to explain their survival techniques and their characteristics.

The company is set to bring their interactive demonstration to the Northport Public Library Wednesday and the South Huntington Library on Sept. 21.
