Tuesday: Lost Dog, Lost Wages a Film and a Concert

Your daily guide to what's happening in the community.

Good morning, Smithtown. Here’s a look at what’s happening on Tuesday.

-With cooler weather, locals can head outside today, as long as showers hold off. If clear skies reign catch a free concert at the Brush Barn. Just make sure to bring a chair or blanket to sit on. You could always head indoors and catch a flick at the Stony Brook Film Festival.

-Have you seen Gizzy? A family is heartbroken over their lost dog who was last seen on July 19 on Oakside Drive in Smithtown. If you can help, call (631) 235-0438.

-Have you ever received a demerit for poor work performance? How about having your bonus reduced because you didn't straighten a crooked picture? That's what members of the household staff of Head of the Harbor billionaire Robert Mercer claim and they are taking him to court over it.

-A reader thinks the summer concert line up at the Smithtown Library needs a little change up. What do you think?
