St. James Halloween Parade Lurches Through Town

The St. James Chamber-sponsored event closed down Lake Avenue so families could strut along the main drag, showing off a range of creative costumes.

On Sunday, local kids (and more than a few spirited parents) donned their Halloween costumes for the annual St. James Halloween Parade.

The St. James Chamber-sponsored event closed down Lake Avenue so families could strut along the main drag, showing off a range of creative costumes.

The parade ended at the St. James train station, where organizers gave out costumes for best costumes in several age groups.

There was even a prize for best-dressed dog.
