St. James' St. Patrick's Day Parade Princesses, Prince Announced

Five princesses and princes overall will be seen in this year's parade.

One of the favorite things of every St. Patrick's Day Parade in St. James are when the adorable kids chosen as princes and princesses of the parade get flaunted down Lake Avenue, waving to a sea of residents with cameras.

This year there were five kids chosen, with four princesses and one prince. Here are the kids you will see during the 23rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

  • Jasmine Keenan, fourth grader, St. James Elementary
  • Katherine Erin McGovern, 5, kindergarten student, St. James Elementary
  • Katelyn Anne Feeney, 5
  • Alyssa Imperato, 5, kindergarten student, Tackan Elementary
  • Jack Amato, 5

The parade is scheduled for March 16 at 1 p.m. It will take place on Lake Avenue from Woodlawn Avenue to Railroad Avenue.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
