Weekend Activity Guide: Live Music, Fitness Class, Bike Tour and More

This weekend's events range from a Fitness Class to a 13-mile bike tour.

With the weekend right around the corner, locals can take advantage of all the exciting events in and around Smithtown, from Storytime Yoga to an outdoor bike ride for beginners.

A free program for kids which includes puppets, engaging songs and yoga poses.

A free concert to honor our soldiers that have returned home and that are still serving. 

This class is for women ages 20 and up. Participants should bring water and a set of 3, 5 or 8 pound weights to each class.

Stop in for drinks and to listen to Nitework, a ten piece band which includes guitar, bass, drums, keys, trumpet, sax and the trombone.

Enjoy a free concert series brought to the residents of Smithtown by the Department of Recreation and Cablevision.  Bring chairs or blankets and a picnic if you would like.

A 13 mile flat bike ride for beginners that will ride through Greenlawn, East Northport and Elwood.

"Why are Smithtown teachers continuing to pay for school supplies out of their ownRead More pocket?" Since when? Ever see the big list of supplies kids get in their folders at the end of the year for them to bring in next year? I think you're talking about the wrong school district.
