Halloween is just seven days away. It's getting dark earlier, and the rustling of newly fallen leaves at night can make the bravest evening dog walker a bit wary of zombies hiding in the bushes.
In an area with so many old, historic structures, graveyards and winding, tree-lined and unlit roads, there are bound to be a few places locals consider spooky.
So where are they? The old pumping station in Nissequogue that some tie to the Mary's Grave legend? Deepwells mansion, or the Caleb Smith House?
