Whiz Kids: Smithtown HS Robotics Team Builds Their Way to First Place

East senior Patrick Jaeger and the Smithtown High School Robotics Team saw success at the Javits Center at Stony Brook University for the beginning of the six-week building season, taking home first place over all the FIRST Robotics teams from Long Island. Jaeger’s musical theme contest first place finish led the team to their first place overall finish, as they took home the first place prize in the competition, $1,000.
