Looking for a fun thing to do with your friends on a Friday night? Sick of staying in and watching tv? Come to the Mills Pond House this Spring and Summer Season for a fun night of art making! Explore, create, laugh, hang out, and have a fantastic Friday night while your parents get a free night to themselves as well. Students will talk about art, be given materials and a prompt, but will be free to go wherever their imagination takes them!
June 15 - Digitize Me!
Ever wonder what you would look like if you were a character in a video or computer game? What if you had you own clothing line or company, what would your logo look like? Design your own logo, avatar or digital character! Students will learn important design elements in order to draw and create their digital image on paper. They will have the opportunity to use forms of printmaking such as stencil-making and stamp-making. After the image is complete, it will be scanned into the computer, not only so it can be treasured forever, but also that you can use it in the digital world!
