Nick’s Pizza and Clam Bar is a roadside seafood shack on North Country Road in Smithtown that serves up fresh seafood, pizza and burgers and features informal outdoor seating on the deck.

The original building housed a frozen custard stand, and since 1969, Nick’s has been serving up Italian classics and along the way, seafood was added to the menu, according to the restaurant’s website.

Diners can sit on the patio under umbrellas while enjoying everything from traditional pizza pies and pasta dishes to golden fried shrimp and scallops to fresh lobster rolls and baked clams. They also offer a large selection of burgers, salads, heros and wraps.

This Zagat-rated restaurant is opened Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

They also offer free delivery to homes and businesses.
