Italian eatery marketing more affordable menu.
Butera’s Restaurant is seeing its price adjustments “slowly catching on” over the past two months since they’ve been implemented, according to general manager Patrick Mieli.
“We lowered the price on individual portions and now we’re offering family-style portions,” Miele said.
The family options are a la carte and serve two to three people.

He said the restaurant is bringing in new clientele with its promotions, including coupons in several newspapers, signs outside the East Main Street building, new menus and word of mouth. A promotion with Long Island radio station WIGX 94.3 is being planned for after the holidays, he said.
“This is more affordable for people,” Mieli said. “It’s cheaper for two people to eat from the family-style menu than individually.”
