If you visited Whole Foods on Thursday, you probably found more people with resumes than grocery lists.
That's because the natural foods market was holding a job fair, packed with people who had already applied and scheduled an appointment to meet. As of 10:30 a.m., more than a dozen applicants were in house, though organizers said they will hold other fairs where people can just pop in.
According to organizers, the job fair will be held at the store all day and those without appointments could still visit the Lake Grove market to apply for a later meeting.
Whole Foods lists openings in its three Long Island markets – Lake Grove, Jericho and Manhasset – on its website.
