Hot Yoga Studio Takes Shape in Nesconset

It's starting to heat up in Nesconset, and its not only the summer weather we're talking about.

Smithtown Hot Yoga has started construction of its new studio at 127 Smithtown Boulevard in Nesconset.

Contractors were seen working at the former Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public Library on Wednesday afternoon.

The studio's owner posted a message to clients on Facebook, "Hooray construction has begun. I don't have a date yet. But as they continue to progress I'll let you know.

Smithtown Hot Yoga closed its former storefront on Smithtown Main Street earlier this year. In March, the owners sent an email to clients stating they were " operating at a loss every single month" and would be moving to Hauppauge.

The yoga studio owners later decided to re-open in Nesconset.
