Nesconset Chamber of Commerce installs new streetlights and banners.
Nesconset drivers traveling on Smithtown Boulevard can't help but notice brand-new blue banners popping up among the spring flowers.
Nesconset Chamber of Commerce has installed streetlights along the length of Smithtown Boulevard to increase lighting and safety of the roadway at night. On 18 of the new streetlights, workers were seen putting up 18-inch by 36-inch blue banners bearing an American Flag over the past week.
Each banner bears the name of a local business who sponsored the banner, along with an invitation to join the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce.
