Signs went up in the windows of the former home in Branch Shopping Plaza . This week workers put up fences around the building indicating construction is ongoing.
Although signs that read "Coming Soon LA Fitness" take up many of the location's windows, representatives at Acadia Realty are tight-lipped about the construction and the prospective tenant.
"We are in the process of vetting out the space for a prospective tennant," said John Grisham, chief financial officer of Acadia.
Grisham said he could not provide any further comments at this time.
, John Christodoulou, construction superintendent for Acadia Realty, said interior demolition at the location had been going on for roughly three weeks.
