Shuttered Glass Shop Long Dark [Empty in Smithtown]

You'd think a shop specializing in stained glass would have windows. But years of being abandoned have left the former Stained Glass Custom Design Studio in the dark.

What used to house colorful glass displays now is boarded up and weathering on Main Street, sandwiched between the newly established bar and grill and Dahn Yoga.

The shop at 17 East Main Street is unlike , since it is abandoned and not listed for lease or sale.

If deemed a blighted property, it could be ripe for inclusion , but that takes time. That begs the question: Should there be a short-term fix to at least spruce up these properties?

For now, a look below the former shop's sign shows that the structure is crumbling.
