The Lite Choice, a new frozen yogurt shop on Route 111, offered refreshing treats during its grand opening Friday afternoon.
Located in the shopping center next to , this organic frozen yogurt has attracted customers in with free samples and kept them there with its full service and array of 80 organic yogurt flavors and various toppings and cones to go with it.
“It’s like my baby,” said store manager and Smithtown resident Nina Cicero, referring to her new business. “I take a lot of pride in it.”
Cicero explained that she has never been involved with a business from start to finish but is excited to do so with this.
For the grand opening, The Lite Choice experienced a large crowd and one that the staff hopes will keep returning for more.
“I know it will succeed,” said Cicero. “And I get to help along the way.”
