The Suffolk Community College Foundation will honor a Smithtown resident and President of the Hauppauge Industrial Association-Long Island at the Salute to Excellence Gala 2013 in Huntington on April 5.
Terri Alessi-Miceli will be recognized at the Oheka Castle by the foundation, a non-profit organization that raises money to support the mission and scholarships from the school, for being a business and community leader.
“Suffolk Community College Foundation is a critical resource for providing scholarships to deserving students who might otherwise be unable to attend college,” Alessi-Miceli said. “It is an honor to be recognized by the Foundation and I congratulate my fellow honorees and look forward to the event.”
The Hauppauge Industrial Association-Long Island is an organization that provides "a forum for business leaders to network, problem solve and obtain advice on critical issues facing their businesses," according to the association's website.
