Sweet Tomato Serving Up Slices in St. James
New pizzeria and grill starts serving lunch and dinner to customers on Tuesday.
St. James newest wood-fired pizzeria has opened its doors for business on Tuesday.
Sweet Tomato Brick-Oven Pizzeria & Grill celebrated its soft opening at 430 N. Country Road in St. James. The restaurant's re-opening comes after more than two months of renovations.
"We are very excited about the new changes being made and we look forward to serving you in the future," read a note posted on the restaurant's door during the renovations.
The front entrance into the restaurant was seasonally decorated with cornstalks and mums on Wednesday afternoon.
Sweet Tomato takes over the former storefront of Attillo's Grill with new ownership and, of course, new brick pizza ovens. The new changes are not reflected on the former Attillo's Grill website, as Sweet Tomato has yet to set up its own website or Facebook page.
