The Dish: Great Pairing of Roast Beef, Mozzarella and Au Jus

Millennium Diner's French Dip is full of flavor.

Choosing a meal of a diner menu could be a daunting task when you are hungry but don't know what you are in the mood for. We're here to help – if you're at  with this dilemma but want a meal packed with flavor you could stop when you get to the French Dip.

The Dish: French Dip ($11.25)

What is it: A healthy serving of roast beef smothered in melted mozzarella cheese with Au Jus on the side to dip, all put together on a garlic roll.

How does it taste: If you like a lot of rich, robust flavor, this might be the sandwich for you. It's safe to say your au jus will have plenty of crumbs from the garlic bread in it by the time you finish the sandwich as it is quite flavorful. And it might not be a stretch to say that melted mozzarella cheese makes any food taste better – but the roast beef absolutely did not need any help in the taste department.

Sides: The sides are simple and typical of a diner – french fries and pickles. While these are standard diner sides the fries are better than most, and are a great compliment to the sandwich.

Beverage: The diner has a wide variety of drinks to choose from, but for this trip a Coke with a refill was the choice ($2.25).

Why you should eat this: It's not always the first choice that jumps off a diner menu but it's definitely worth a try.
