The Award is presented annually to firms that have shown their commitment to raising the bar on funeral service excellence by adhering to strict ethical and professional standards and providing outstanding service to families and communities.

“Only two percent of funeral homes nationwide can say they are Pursuit of Excellence award winners and we’ve been doing it for 8 years,” said John Vigliante, an owner and funeral director at Branch Funeral Homes. “It is an honor to be recognized for the investment we make each year in money and time training our staff, upgrading our equipment and expanding our services. We would make these enhancements each year regardless of the award, but it is a distinction that separates us from other funeral service providers on Long Island.”
