St.James Wildcats-St. James Fire Department

Q:  What began in 1932 and ended in 2013?

A:  The St. James Wildcats.

I have been told that the St. James Wildcats have been disbanded by the Board of Commissioners and I am reaching out to you for your help and support.

It might be extremely helpful if letters of support can be sent by teams and fans to help in the possibility of reversing the commissioners decision to disband the team. It might help, it might not but it's worth a try.

• Letters to the Chiefs' Office and Board of Fire Commissioners can be sent to 221 Jefferson Avenue, St. James, NY  11780. (They both receive mail at this address.)
• Letters to the St. James Fire Dept. can be sent to 533 No. Country Road, St. James, NY  11780.

Letters sent to the Chiefs will only be read by the Chiefs. Letters to the Commissioners will only be read by the Commissioners. But, letters sent to the Department will be read at their next regular monthly meeting in front of the entire membership. Like I said, I don't know if it will help but I'm sure the Wildcats will truly appreciate any support you can give them.
