There's no arguing that Main Street in Smithtown has its problems, from to the emptying of the "downtown" side of the street in favor of newer digs on the "strip mall" side.
For example, the tattered awning of 59 East Main Street and large windows make it impossible for passing residents to miss the emptiness of the space.
A former mattress store, the location now is vacant and for rent. Though it is currently not listed with the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island.
However, it's sandwiched between two seemingly thriving businesses: and Butera's Restaurant.
