With most of his latest book "Mark of the Zodiac" complete for six to eight months, local author Jeb Ladouceur wanted to fine tune some of the details to make it more authentic and realistic. A chance encounter with Dan Lavery, tattoo artist and owner of Liberty Tattoo Company on Smithtown's Main Street, helped him do just that.
Patch sat down with the author and tattooer to see just how vital the details and expertise of Lavery were in finishing his latest book as well as the creative process behind writing "Mark of the Zodiac" and more.
