Event Spotlight: Texas Hold 'Em

Fundraiser to benefit the family of Seamus Byrne.

If you know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em you may want to ante up for the Texas Hold ‘em Fundraiser happening Friday evening at 6 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Smithtown.

It’s not only a fun night, but it helps a local family. This year the event honors the family of Seamus Byrne who He left behind his wife Michelle and two young children. Seamus grew up in Kings Park and he and Michelle met while they were students at Kings Park High School.

You can register online or in person. The $150 donation per person includes, food, beer, wind and soda. Non-players are also welcome for a $30 donation and will receive food and beverage.
