Report: Insignia's Sales to Fund Cancer Research

Portion of first-week sales will go towards cancer research at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

While the restaurant is not yet open to the public, Insignia Prime Steak & Sushi plans to donate half of its first-week sales to cancer research, according to a Long Island Business News report.

According to the report, the money accrued from the Anthony Scotto restaurant will fund the research at the Cold Spring Harbor laboratory.

that the restaurant, located at the corner of Nesconset Highway and Mount Pleasant Road, is expected to open in late November or early December. Insignia will fill the vacated Boulder Creek location, closed roughly four years ago.
