Single-Lane Traffic for Parts of Routes 347, 111 Beginning Friday Night

Traffic patterns will be changed for night road paving.

Paving on Route 347 between Route 454 and Route 111 will resume Friday night, resulting in single-lane traffic, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

The DOT expects paving to be finished by Nov. 30.

All paving will be done at night, according to the DOT, with Route 347 to be finished first, then Route 111 from Sherbrook Drive south to Hauppauge High School.

No road work is scheduled from noon on Wednesday to 10 p.m. next Sunday.

Paving on Route 347 is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. westbound, 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. easbound; paving is scheduled for 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Route 111.
