Complimentary Wine Tasting & Cheese Pairing

On Sunday, December 30, Vine 2 Wine will be hosting a complimentary wine tasting from 1-4pm. This tasting will feature D 66 Grenache 2009 and Snowden Cabernet Sauvignon The Ranch 2010. The grenache has a very dark, opaque red color with subtle aromas of toasted oak, blueberry jam and dry rose petal. The entry is mouth coating and lush. Opulent plum and ultra ripe cherries are balanced with Asian spices and a bright vein of minerality and acidity that give great structure, weight and balance to the long finish. The tannin chains are long and will lend to aging for 5 to 10 years. The cabernet sauvignon bursts from the glass with masses of dark red fruit, tobacco, licorice and cassis. The wine shows marvelous depth and texture as the aromas and flavors build effortlessly to the dramatic, sweeping finish. This is a superb effort, and certainly one of the very finest Napa Valley wines available for the money. Stop in and give them a taste!
