Short for Really FABULOUS Preventive Rehabilitation. This class was inspired by the amount of physical activity we do as adults that is “unguided” (ex: going on the elliptical, taking a Zumba class, working out at home), after being sedentary for 8+ hours a day. Our bodies are simply not as strong as they used to be, leading to small, cumulative and progressive injuries – usually written off as “just getting old.” This class will focus on rehabilitative exercises done with light weight and high repetitions. The format will encourage neurological development in addition to increasing strength and endurance, resulting in postural changes and efficient movement patterns. This class will use gentle, focused repetitions getting you in touch with muscles that you never knew you had! This is the closest I can get to giving away my Personal Fitness Training in a group setting! Formatted into an 8 week progressive and cumulative class that can be repeated as necessary.
