Holiday Market Weekend

 Smithtown Township Arts Council and St. James Model Railroad Club will hold their Annual Holiday Open House weekend Friday, December 6 (6 - 9 pm), Saturday, December 7 (11am – 5pm) and Sunday, December 8 (11am – 5pm) at the Mills Pond House in St. James. The weekend will feature the annual open house of St. James Model Railroad club, a Members Fine Art Showcase, a Granny’s Attic sale, and special sales of Die-cast models, jewelry and more! Call 631-862-6575 or visit www.stacarts.org for information. Parking for the Mills Pond House is located off Mills Pond Road, directly across from Flowerfields at 199 Mills Pond Road. Our driveway is directly across from the Flowerfields entrance with the two white stone pillars.

St. James Model Railroad:

The St. James Model Railroad Club proudly displays their 38' x 48' Lionel train layout, the result of 32 years of continuing improvements, represents Railroading from the Age of Steam to Present Day with many freight and passenger trains running simultaneously in a scenic, imaginative setting. Featured will be many brightly illuminated, scratch-built structures, animated accessories, bustling towns, a colorful circus and amusement park, and much more. Our improved layout guarantees that you will see MORE TRAINS presented in a DETAILED, REALISTIC SETTING. Children of all ages will enjoy the sights and sounds of this truly impressive display.

Admission to the train display is by donation to St. James Model Railroad Club: Adults $2.00 Children 50¢. Please note: The St. James Model Railroad club train display is not handicap accessible.
